Students can attend in grades 10-12. Some programs only allow students in grades 11-12.

Bus transportation is provided from all Boise High Schools. Students can also drive themselves.

Students get 2 elective credits per semester. Industry certifications and concurrent credits are also available in many programs.

Students in 2nd or 3rd year programs who are employed in their field can apply for work-based learning. This allows you to work AND get credit for your DTEC program.

Yes! DTEC accepts open enrollment students. If you’re not currently enrolled in the Boise School District, you can apply using the Open Enrollment Form.
Seats are filled first by Boise School District students, but we do welcome open enrollment students in programs that have space available.

Programs take 1-3 years to complete.
